It seems that the magic of Nina Ricci is not really working on everyone. Bee Shaffer might have needed more exercise to slim up her waist for that corset dress. Tory Burch wore the navy blue sculptured gown and she is in desperate need of those platform boots. Lou Doillon, you passed cox you have Olivier Theyskens standing next to you.

I love Jessica Stam in her golden Rodarto bandage dress for no reason. I just love it! But she really needs to fix that piece of loose hair lying on her face.

I'm pleased to see someone wearing Matthew Williamson. His use of color always cheers me up!

I love Anne Hathaway's hair and make-up. But I'm not sure about her Marc Jacobs dress. The neckline after modification looks strange. And it reminds me of SHELL. Though deep purple works really great on Anne's snow skin.

Elizabeth Banks wore an Alberta Ferretti mini dress. I love how the dress combines a sequined neckline and a embroidered skirt. It is simple and elegant.
These are the outfits that catch my eyes. If you wish to see how the others' doing, google "Met Costume Institute Gala 2009" to find out. Good luck!
