Met Costume Institute Gala 2009 Part 2

Mary-kate Olsen wore a wonderful gown from Christian Lacroix Fall 2007 Couture. It is a modified version of the runway piece with a simpler neckline and sleeves. However, Mary-little-kate seems having problem in carrying this haute couture. I am really sorry to say that she looks like a Hobbit in this.

I don't have much to say about Rihanna in this D&G cropped pant suit with dramatic shoulders. But I'm really impressed by the great resemblance between her and TVB actress Myolie Wu. Don't you think so?

Victoria Beckham wore a polka dotted Marc Jacobs mini dress. If there is something wrong with the dress, it must be the train. It just seems so unnecessary for the dress. And the color of the dress is not working for her too (for me either). But I do think she's incredible bending herself to pose that way!

Agyness Deyn's boyish image is successful in helping her career, but I never fall for it. However, her old Hollywood look of the night really impressed me. With the metallic silver Burberry gown, she looks extremely feminine and elegant. I have to say, her capability as a model is really great!

Another fabulous model of the night is Chanel Iman. I love her animal print gown from Zac Posen, it goes perfectly with her skin color. But what I love the most is the string of diamond necklace from Montblanc she's wearing. I just can't get my eye off it!

To be continued...
